Vijay Sethupathi to team with Tamannah for the first time
Vijay Sethupathi plate is brimming with films and the actor is very busy completing project after project. His last film was Naanum Rowdy Dhaan directed by Vignesh Shivan which has been declared a major hit by the box office.
Versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi’s new film Dharmadurai directed by Seenu Ramasamy was launched on Monday. The film is being bankrolled by R.Suresh of Studio 9.

Superstar Rajinikanth is way more than just an actor – he is almost considered as a God especially when it come to his huge fan following down South.
Rajinikanth was born as Shivaji Rao Gaekwad on December 12, 1950 in a Marathi family in Bangalore. He was named after the Maratha warrior, Chhatrapati Shivaji. Rajinikanth was the fourth child of Jijabai and Ramojirao Gaekwad, who was a police constable. In the initial years of his childhood and youth, he struggled a lot due to financial issues. Though he came from a Marathi background, Rajinikanth has not acted in any Marathi films as yet.
At the start of his career, he took up a number of odd jobs including being a carpenter and a coolie. He was later employed by Bangalore Transport Service (BTS), where he worked as a bus conductor. He then began to take part in stage plays. He was also offered a part in playwright Topi Muniappa’s mythological plays.
It was during this time that he came across an advert for acting classes at the Madras Film Institute and decided to join against the wishes of his family. His friend and co-worker Raj Bahadur supported him financially during his course.

First look posters of Suriya 24,he first look posters of Suriya-starrer Tamil film "24", which were released online on Tuesday, have piqued a lot of curiosity among the actor's fans and film lovers with regards to its genre.
Going by the two posters, Suriya dons extremely distinct avatars of an assassin and a scientist.
Rumoured to be based on the concept of time-travel, the film also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nithya Menen.

Ajith Vedalam Joins The 100 Crore Club In 8 Days
big Diwali winner at the Kollywood box-office is Ajith Kumar action masala entertainer Vedalam directed by Siva. The film has grossed approximately Rs 100 crore in its first week from Tamil Nadu alone, and is also doing well in the international market.
Vedalam now stands next only to superstar ‘s Enthiran, Lingaa and ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram’s I in terms of reaching the 100 Crore club at the earliest. While Enthiran, Lingaa and I were single releases, Vedalam was a non-solo release.
Tamil film trade has anointed known as the king of opening, as the next Rajinikanth due to his phenomenal reach. Ajith, or Thala as he is popular known, has been in the Tamil film industry for nearly two decades.Vedalam is his 56th film and is also his biggest hit.
Apart from Ajith, trade analysts have also touted his rival Vijay as the next big superstar. Both actors specialise in commercial entertainers, which still has a huge reach across Tamil Nadu, especially in smaller cities and villages.Ajith –Vijay feud to get the so-called ‘Kollywood throne’ has been going on for the last few years. It is quite similar to the battle going on between the Khans for supremacy in Bollywood.
The two actors started their careers around the same time in the mid 90s, and are usually very formal and friendly when they meet But an impending battle is being furiously discussed on social media among Ajith and Vijay fans. At the time of any of their releases, you can see hoards of tweets and massive trolling.

Siva Karthikeyan new film was then expected to release in October, but it was again pushed back. According to reports, the Ponram directorial is now expected to hit the screens on December 1 week Sources claim that the makers have solved the financial issues now.
After the super hit Kakki Sattai that released in March, young and energetic actor has not had any release this year. The Ponram directed was ready for release in September, but it could not release till date due to financial issues faced by Tirrupathi Brothers banner, which has produced the film.

Thoongaavanam Movie Review
Thoongaavanam Movie, Every time you see the name ‘Kamal Haasan’ on big screen, you automatically expect to see something different and class apart from the regular formulaic flicks.film is synonymous to its title, a quick, suave and straightforward thriller from Kamal’s camp. The film is an official remake of the French film Sleepless nights with Ulaganayagan tweaking the screenplay to suit the regional audienc
The entire movie is shot in a night club; ironically the club’s name is Insomnia too. Kamal is aided by a number of characters in this movie; Prakash Raj, Trisha, Kishore, Sampath, Yugi Sethu, Jagan and so on. Kamal’s action thrillers are always a delight to watch for its high pulsating action sequences and his assistant Rajesh Selva who helms the directional chair in Thoongavanam makes sure he delivers the same.
Thoongavanam doesn’t quite fall in the suspense category; rather it’s more of a raw gritty action drama that chugs on with the help of a strong edge of the seat screenplay. Not taking much time the movie shoots off with Kamal(Divakar) and Yugi Sethu(Mani) who pose as Narcotic bureau officers involved in a chaotic crime scene, but their hidden agenda is to confiscate and rob cocaine. One thing leads to another and Kamal’s son gets kidnapped by Prakash Raj who is the night club owner, the rest is to watch and find out considering the genre of the movie.
The entire film is taken in a massive night club and follows the incidents that unravel in a single night with Kamal trying to use his mental and physical might to get the better out of the drug warlord Prakash Raj on one hand and the cops; Kishore and Trisha on the other.
The film wastes no time in comical elements and it shuttles frame between the various parts of the night club, kudos to the art directors and cinematographer Sanu Varghese for capturing the true essence of the party hard clubs from various angles.
