A song sung by Tamil star Silambarasanand composed by Kolaveri Di fame music director Anirudh Ravichander has already mired controversy even before its release. The Beep song, as it is being called, is said to have several Tamil cuss words and has not gone down well with many in the state. 

On social media,became an Internet sensation and was the first truly viral video in India. The song was used in the movie 3 directed by Dhanush’s wife Aishwarya who is superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter. Why This Kolaveri Di has spoof and cover versions in various languages.

many have condemned the song for its objectionable use of cuss words which are understandable despite having muted it with a beep sound. case was registered against the duo under section 4 read with 6 of Indecent Representation of Women Act, 509 IPC and 67 of Information Technology Act by Race Course Police, Coimbatore.

Ajith Vedalam Joins The 100 Crore Club In 8 Days

big Diwali winner at the Kollywood box-office is Ajith Kumar action masala entertainer Vedalam directed by Siva. The film has grossed approximately Rs 100 crore in its first week from Tamil Nadu alone, and is also doing well in the international market.

Vedalam now stands next only to superstar Rajinikath‘s Enthiran, Lingaa and ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram’s I  in terms of reaching the 100 Crore club at the earliest. While Enthiran, Lingaa and I  were single releases, Vedalam was a non-solo release.

Tamil film trade has anointed Ajith Kumar, known as the king of opening, as the next Rajinikanth due to his phenomenal reach. Ajith, or Thala as he is popular known, has been in the Tamil film industry for nearly two decades.Vedalam is his 56th film and is also his biggest hit.

Apart from Ajith, trade analysts have also touted his rival Vijay as the next big superstar. Both actors specialise in commercial entertainers, which still has a huge reach across Tamil Nadu, especially in smaller cities and villages.Ajith –Vijay feud to get the so-called ‘Kollywood throne’ has been going on for the last few years. It is quite similar to the battle going on between the Khans  for supremacy in Bollywood.

The two actors started their careers around the same time in the mid 90s, and are usually very formal and friendly when they meet But an impending battle is being furiously discussed on social media among Ajith and Vijay fans. At the time of any of their releases, you can see hoards of tweets and massive trolling.

  Siva Karthikeyan new film was then expected to release in October, but it was again pushed back. According to reports, the Ponram directorial is now expected to hit the screens on December 1 week Sources claim that the makers have solved the financial issues now.

After the super hit Kakki Sattai that released in March, young and energetic actor Siva Karthikeyan has not had any release this year. The Ponram directed Rajini Murugan was ready for release in September, but it could not release till date due to financial issues faced by Tirrupathi Brothers banner, which has produced the film.

Thoongaavanam Movie Review

Thoongaavanam Movie, Every time you see the name ‘Kamal Haasan’ on big screen, you automatically expect to see something different and class apart from the regular formulaic flicks.film is synonymous to its title, a quick, suave and straightforward thriller from Kamal’s camp. The film is an official remake of the French film Sleepless nights with Ulaganayagan tweaking the screenplay to suit the regional audienc

The entire movie is shot in a night club; ironically the club’s name is Insomnia too. Kamal is aided by a number of characters in this movie; Prakash Raj, Trisha, Kishore, Sampath, Yugi Sethu, Jagan and so on. Kamal’s action thrillers are always a delight to watch for its high pulsating action sequences and his assistant Rajesh Selva who helms the directional chair in Thoongavanam makes sure he delivers the same.

Thoongavanam doesn’t quite fall in the suspense category; rather it’s more of a raw gritty action drama that chugs on with the help of a strong edge of the seat screenplay. Not taking much time the movie shoots off with Kamal(Divakar) and Yugi Sethu(Mani) who pose as Narcotic bureau officers involved in a chaotic crime scene, but their hidden agenda is to confiscate and rob cocaine. One thing leads to another and Kamal’s son gets kidnapped by Prakash Raj who is the night club owner, the rest is to watch and find out considering the genre of the movie.

The entire film is taken in a massive night club and follows the incidents that unravel in a single night with Kamal trying to use his mental and physical might to get the better out of the drug warlord Prakash Raj on one hand and the cops; Kishore and Trisha on the other. 

The film wastes no time in comical elements and it shuttles frame between the various parts of the night club, kudos to the art directors and cinematographer Sanu Varghese for capturing the true essence of the party hard clubs from various angles.
